Link's Awakening Enemies
Ache:
they fire fireballs, and they slightly resemble Aches from Adventure of Link.
Arm-Mimic:
because there are so few of these. The L-2 Sword can beat them instantly.
Armos:
They are generally peaceful, but some come to life when you touch them.
Armos Knight:
a monster that guards the Face Key. It slowly hops toward you and is covered in armor.
Ball & Chain Soldier:
One of the soldiers in Kanalet Castle has a ball and chain.
Battle Bat:
they fly at Link in formation and you must defeat all six at once to keep them down.
Beamos:
These are those black cylinders that spin around and shoot lasers.
Blaino:
He's the mini-boss of Turtle Rock.
Bloober:
These are mixes of octopuses and squids.
Bomber:
Flying mushrooms that drop bombs.
Bombite:
Bombites come in two types. One type ricochets around the room before
exploding, while the other counts down to three while following you
before exploding.
Boo Buddies:
The two Ghinis that guard the Power Bracelet in Bottle Grotto.
Bubble:
These are skulls that ricochet around the room to hurt you.
Buzz Blob:
Green creatures that will electrocute you if you slash them.
Cheep-Sheep:
Cheep-Sheep jump out of the water occasionally.
Crab:
Crabs that roam around and attack enemies.
Crow:
They fly at you and will give you a thrashing if you don't kill them.
Cue Ball:
Cue Ball dashes around the room to attack you.
Cukeman:
If you sprinkle Magic Powder on a Buzz Blob, it turns into a glasses-wearing freak.
Dodongo Snake:
Dodongo Snakes are long, black-versions of the Dodongos from The Legend of Zelda.
Flying Octorok:
These creatures are winged versions of Octoroks.
Gel:
When you slash a pink Zol with the L-1 Sword, two smaller Zol-
like creatures called Gels pop out.
Ghini:
When you touch the surface of a tombstone, a Ghini comes out.
Giant Buzz Blob:
In the Secret Dungeon in Link's Awakening DX, you'll fight this monster.
Giant Ghini:
One particular grave in the Cemetery unleashes a Giant Ghini.
Giant Goponga Flower:
These are rare.
Gibdo:
these mummies do not flinch or fly backward when you hit them.
Gohma:
A pair of these was the sub boss in Catfish's Maw.
Goomba:
Goombas roam around aimlessly. and can be defeated in a similar fashion - jumping.
Goponga Flower:
These are swamp-dwelling plants.
Great Moblin:
The Great Moblin was much larger than normal Moblins and shot arrows.
Grim Creeper:
Master of eight Battle Bats and the boss of Eagle's Tower.
Hardhat Beetle:
Creatures that slide around the room, Hardhat Beetles are invincible.
Hinox:
A pathetically easy Cyclops is an accurate description of Hinox.
Kanalet Soldier:
They are nearly the same as Moblins, and should be fought as such.
Iron Mask:
With iron masks, they are vulnerable only on their backs.
Keese:
Keese are bats. They hide in dark areas & fly at you in random patterns.
Lanmola:
The guardian of the Angler Key is a long snake-like creature.
Leever:
Leevers are creatures that poke their heads out of sand and shift through it.
Like Like:
They can eat the Wooden Shield, which forces you to buy a replacement.
