Swords
Sword: found in the cave in the entrance screen.
White Sword: From where you begin the game, go right one
screen, up five screens, left one screen, up one screen, right
three screens and up one screen to locate it.
Magic Sword: From where you begin the game, go right one
screen, up five screens, left one screen, up one screen, left
across the river, up one screen and right two screens. (you will
need the power bracelet before getting this sword)
Shields:
Shield: You start out in the game with this sword.
Magic Shield: This shield you can buy in a few different shops
that are scattered through out Hyrule.
Rings:
Blue Ring: This ring you have to buy, it costs 250 rubies, and
is found up 1 screen, left 3 screens, up 3 screens, and under the
top middle statue. It increases your defense.
Red Ring: This ring is found in temple 9, and increases your
defense even more than the Blue Ring.
Boomerangs:
Wooden Boomerang: This is found inside temple 1, and can grab
rubies left by enemies, kill bats, and stun most enemies. Though it
can only go half way across the room.
Magical Boomerang: This is found in temple 3, it can do the
same as the wooden boomerang, but this goes all the way across the room.
Bow & Arrows:
Bow: This is found in temple 5, you need this to buy arrows,
and you will need this later on in the game.
Wooden Arrows: These you have to buy in a shop, they cost
80 rupees.
Silver Arrows: These are found in temple 9; you will need these
arrows to destroy Ganon.
Candles:
Blue Candle: This candle you have to buy from a shop, it costs
60 rupees. The down part of this candle is you can only use it one
time per room or screen. To use it twice in the same room or
screen, you have to leave that room or screen, and come back.
Red Candle: This is found in temple 7; it can be used as many
times as you want to use it in any room or screen.
Keys:
Key: You get keys in temples as you go through them to
open locked doors, there is also a shop that sells keys in case you
need one that you couldnt find in a temple.
Magic Key: This key is found in temple 8, and is the key that
opens all locked doors; you dont need to get the small keys in the
temples to open the doors with this.
Magic Wand:
This is found in temple 8, and is just another weapon that Link can use.
Ladder:
This item is found in Temple 6, and is used to get link across rivers.
Raft:
This is found in Temple 4, and is used to get link across the water
wherever there is a dock to launch it from.
Magic Book:
This is found in temple 4, and is used to make the magic wand throw out flames.
Whistle/Flute:
This is found in temple 2, and is used to help you defeat all digdoggers.
Letter:
From the center screen on the right side of the Graveyard, go right
two screens, up one screen and take the right stars, right one
screen, up one screen, left two screens, up one screen, left one
screen and down one screen. Using the Power Bracelet, push
against the rocks on the screen to find the Letter
Power Bracelet:
From the center screen on the right side of the Graveyard, go
right two screens, up one screen, and go up the right ladder,
and right one screen. Push against the sleeping statues to
find the Power Bracelet.
Hear Containers:
Heart Container 1: From the upper left corner of the Graveyard.
Push against the tombstones to find it.
Heart Container 2: From the beginning of the game go right one
screen, up five screens, left one screen, up one screen, left
across the river, up one screen and left one screen of where you
begin the game. Use the Whistle on this screen to find it.
Heart Container 3: is located right one screen, up five screens ,
right two screens and down one screen of where you begin the
game. Blow the Whistle again to find it.
Heat Container 4: From where you begin the game, go right
eight screens and up five screens. Use the Raft there to reach
the screen with the Heart.
Heart Container 5: From where you begin the game, right eight
screens and up two screens of where you begin the game. Use the Ladder to reach it.
