Swords:
Sword: found in the cave in the entrance screen
White sword: found up1 screen, right 1 screen, up 4 screens,
right 4 screens, up 1 screen, left 2 screens, up 1 screen, from the starting screen.
Magical Sword: found up 1 screen, right 1 screen, up 4 screens,
left 2 screens, down 1 screen, left 1 screen, up 1 screen, left 2
screens, down 1 screen,left 2 screens, up 1 screen, and in the
grave that is middle row, 3rd column.
Shields:
Shield: You start out in the game with this sword.
Magic Shield: This shield you can buy in a few different
shops that are scattered through out Hyrule.
Rupees:
Yellow Rubies: These yellow rubies are worth just 1. You can
get them by killing enemies, or finding secrets throughout Hyrule
Blue Rubies: These blue rubies are worth 5 rubies.
You can find them by killing enemies, and are also found in secret throughout Hyrule.
Hearts:
Heart: a heart is the life of Link; you can find hearts by
killing enemies. Fairies also help Link get life back; they give more
life back than a plain heart.
Heart Container: These give you more permanent life.
The more heart containers you have the more life you have.
Keys:
You get keys in temples as you go through them to open
locked doors, there is also a shop that sells keys in case
you need one that you couldnt find in a temple.
Magic Key: This key is found in temple 8, and is the
key that opens all locked doors; you dont need to get the small
keys in the temples to open the doors with this.
Rings:
Blue Ring: This ring you have to buy, it costs 250 rupee, and
is found up 1 screen, left 3 screens, up 3 screens, and under the
top middle statue. It increases your defense.
Red Ring: This ring is found in temple 9, and increases your
defense even more than the Blue Ring.
Boomerangs:
Wooden Boomerang: This is found inside temple 1, and can grab
rupees left by enemies, kill bats, and stun most enemies. Though it
can only go half way across the room.
Magical Boomerang: This is found in temple 2, it can do the
same as the wooden boomerang, but this goes all the way across the room.
Candles:
Blue Candle: This candle you have to buy from a shop, it costs
60 rupees. The down part of this candle is you can only use it one
time per room or screen. To use it twice in the same room or
screen, you have to leave that room or screen, and come back.
Red Candle: This is found in temple 7; it can be used as many
times as you want to use it in any room or screen.
Potions:
Blue potion: This costs 40 rubies, and can be found in a few
shops throughout Hyrule, though the blue potion can only be used
one time to refill your life.
Red Potion: This costs 68 rubies, and can be found in the
same shops as the blue potion, this potion however can be used
twice to refill your life.
Bow & Arrows:
Bow: This is found in temple 1, you need this to buy arrows,
and you will need this later on in the game.
Wooden Arrows: These you have to buy in a shop, they cost
80 rupees.
Silver Arrows: These are found in temple 9; you will need
these arrows to destroy Ganon.
Ladder:
This item is found in Temple 4, and is used to get link across rivers.
Raft:
This is found in Temple 3, and is used to get link across the water
wherever there is a dock to launch it from.
Map:
There is one map in each Temple, and it shows the map of each Temple.
Compass:
There is one in each temple, and shows where the temple boss is located.
Letter:
This is needed to show to the old lady in any potion shop. It is
found, 1 screen up, right 1 screen, up 4 screens, right 5 screens,
up 1 screen, right 1 screen, up 1 screen, from the starting screen.
Bomb:
These you get when you kill an enemy, or I do believe you can buy
them as well. You can only hold 8 to begin with. You can get more
in temple 5 and temple 7.
Power Bracelet:
This is used to push certain rocks in the over world. It is found,
up 1 screen, right 1 screen, up 4 screens, left 2 screens, down 1
screen, left 1 screen, up 1 screen, and left 1 screen, from the
starting screen, Touch the statue on the top right.
Magic Clock:
You can get these when killing enemies; they stop the enemy from
doing whatever it is that the enemy does at that time. It only
works for that screen, while you are still there.
Whistle/Flute:
This is found in temple 5, and is used to help you defeat all digdoggers.
Enemy Bait/Meat:
This is used to lure enemies to it so its easier to kill them,
It is also needed in temple 7 to proceed in a certain room.
Magic Wand:
This is found in temple 6, and is just another weapon that Link can use.
Magic Book:
This is found in temple 8, and is used to make the magic wand
throw out flames.
